Planning Board Continues Main Street Site Hearing
Planning Board · Meeting of September 4, 2026
Walpole Planning Board continues Main Street site plan hearing, grants extension to October 31. The board unanimously continued Case 26-5, a site plan application for 745 Main Street filed by Chuba Engineering Group, after its attorney said required materials were not ready. Members also accepted a letter from law firm Mackie and Mackie, signed by Nadine Bailey, extending the board's decision deadline to October 31, 2026, on a motion by Vice Chair John O'Leary.
The board deferred approval of its August 20 minutes after discovering the wrong draft had been circulated, continuing that item to September 17. Members set the continued Main Street hearing for October 1 and previewed hearings on a Union Street matter and a case referred to as Rosscommon. The meeting adjourned on a 4-0 vote.
