Planning Board · Meeting of June 18, 2026

WALPOLE — The Walpole Planning Board approved a minor site-plan modification at Union Station on Brook Lane and extended a Warwick Road subdivision hearing into August. Chair John Conroy recused himself before the board voted 4-0, with Vice Chair John O'Leary and member John Griffin moving and seconding, to widen four unbuilt buildings from 42 to 46 feet and add a gated walking path to Union Street. Resident Jack Conroy of Burns Avenue argued the path change should require major-modification notice, saying "they have to sign off on an application," but the board found it minor.

Separately, the board voted 5-0 to extend the Warwick Road Extension Subdivision hearing through August 31 and continue it to August 20, after applicant representative Lou Petrozzi and the board sparred over roadway width, sidewalks and an unresolved town access agreement, with Petrozzi noting "there has been no determination as to who is responsible for the construction of a public way."
